Wow, don’t start a handyman project at home unless you know what you are doing! I knocked down the exterior of a wall in my apartment and wanted a raw, New York city look with the bricks exposed. Truth is, it wasn’t as simple as it looked and I have spent mamny days and nights on this project. I am almost done, so that’s gonna free up some space in the old head of mine. OK, music time. So I have been working on some fresh new shit with Danish rapper Mikkel Mund (who some might remember from the group “Rent mel (i posen)”) . We did a really catchy, dirty, but somewhat commercially accessible single type of joint, with me singing on the hook. I really hope the radio will pick this one up, when it comes out – the album is currently being shopped to different labels. So far, what I’ve heard from it is dope – also the features are worth looking forward to, besides mine.

Tomorrow I will be hooking up with another Danish rapper called Fantomet – he is an amazing talent, and I really look forward to doing some hit material with him. I think it will be on some electronic/lot’s of singing vibe – but none the less, ill. More on this, when we finish something.

Today I worked on a new gritty, slow beat with breakbeat drums and synths. Don’t know what it’s for yet – either some US artist or my mixtape. I also played my pre-mix of a track called “Outta Control” for my fellow studio rat, Atilla (who I think is one of the most talented and original Danish producers). Besides a few tweaks here and there, he really liked it alot – so that was great (and I know he is a critic by nature). I’m mixing it this saturday – hopefully it will be ready for release soon after that.

Other than that I am frustrated with the delay on my new single (more on this as soon as I know what the fuck is going on with the label) and in desperation, I am spamming major label A&R’s with new demo’s – I hope some of them will get back to me. To ease the pain (well, not really pain – but it sounds cool) – I have been listening to a girl called Zee Avi alot lately. She is INCREDIBLE – best songs I have heard in a while, matter of fact, best album in a while. Listen to it if you like a lot of acoustic guitar and a beautiful girls voice – I never knew such an album could hit me in such a way.. Let me know if you dig it.
