A taste of things to come

I took some footage of me clowning around in my studio, just playing some things I’ve been working on lately. These are a taste of things to come, but I saved the most exclusive things for later. Sorry for the lack of updates lately, but I haven’t had that much news to write about. The first track in the video is from a new project I am working on. I wonder if it will ever see daylight or forever be kept in the vault. Time will tell - and as you probably can tell, it’s the first time I rhyme over 808-drums. Hope you dig the video, where I pose my beautiful biceps and even do a Madonna/Vogue move. :) Holla!

Random stuff - August 8th

  • Is this really the end of the summer? I mean, we only had like 2-3 weeks of good weather - all together. Man, fuck this Danish weather. I just bought a ticket to Thailand!
  • If you are a gear nerd (like us producergeeks), then check out the Just Blaze MPC5000 review at his page. Very entertaining, and also very funny to be able to read about his bitterness towards this product.
  • Am I the only one a bit disappointed with the new The Game track? Superman - produced by Just Blaze
  • Who else thinks that Izza Kizza (check out his mixtape here) sounds like GLC from the G.O.O.D music family?
  • Producers of the moment has got to be Emile and Deezle - who else do you think should it be? And please don’t hit me with all the golden age producers like Premo and Pete Rock. :)
  • I am thinking of expanding this blog. Don’t quite know specifically what it is yet, but I wanna make some sections with me doing beats (the Ryan Leslie way), how to submit beats to labels, and maybe even interviews with other producer colleagues. If you have any suggestions then let me know.
  • I wasted 1.5 hour of my life watching Star Ship Troopers 3 - I’m in agony. No wonder this shit never hit the movie theatres. Casper Van Dien forget about it - It’s OVER. Your career, that is.
