Defari & Fred in the lab

You ain\'t know? L.A. - not loser..

It’s all about L.A. at the moment! I just had the pleasure of working with Defari (Herut) of the world famous Likwit crew (King Tee, Alkaholiks & Xzibit), who is in Copenhagen, Denmark right now to play a show @ HEAT (Rust nightclub) hosted by my man DJ Typhoon. Since I was a teenager, I’ve been listening to his album, “Focused Daily” (”..Feelin real good like when the Lakers traded Vlade”), so of course it was a dope experience to be able to work with him. He stopped by my lab and we recorded some serious shit, which - if all goes well, should come out sometime later this year - a crazy joint I produced. As always, can’t tell you guys too much about the track, since it is still on the low-low regarding what it’s for and what, where, when. OK - thats it for now, gotta go shower and get ready for the cluuuuuuub. Today was a good day.

My Roskilde show - Success!

Me and my boys..

Phew, what a week! Sorry, it’s been slow with the updates, but I really haven’t been able to concentrate on anything besides my “big” show @ Roskilde Festival 2008. Well, it went really good! I think it was one of my best (and toughest - 45 minutes STRAIGHT without any breaks) shows ever and the crowd was really dope! There was a lot more people than I had expected, so that was a pleasant surprise. Shout outs to my boys Diverze and Substance for holding me down on the stage! I have a few pictures from the show, but I thought that the video from my camera (which my girl shot) was better than stills. The sound sucks - but if you can live with that, I think you get a pretty good impression of the show. The video shows snippets of the different songs I played - basically all my album tracks minus the intro and outro. I was told that crowdsurfing wasn’t allowed, so I jumped into the “photography grave” to shake hands with the audience at one point. At the end, we gave the crowd some CDs, T-shirts, sunglasses and posters - safe to say, that sparkled almost boyband-ish conditions, but still, it felt really good! All in all a really good day - I had a blast. BTW - If any of you guys have video or good pictures from the show, let me know (drop a comment).

The Roskilde video @ Youtube - Click here! (The quality sucks, but it’s from a standard ixus camera, what the heck can you expect?).
